The Badgers kicked off the second half of the 2024-25 season with two impressive victories.
On Friday, the team traveled to Big Sandy for a rematch with the Pioneers. The Badgers came out strong, building a quick 22-10 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Pioneers matched the Badgers in the second quarter, with both teams scoring 14 points, giving the Badgers a 36-23 lead at halftime. The third quarter was the turning point, as the Badgers' defense and transition game shone, outscoring the Pioneers 21-5. The game ended with a decisive victory for the Badgers, 74-47.

Kaden Jorgensen: 18 points (2 three-pointers) and 6 steals
Peyton Hauk: 13 points and 4 steals
Tyler Lane: 11 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 blocks
Ian McKamey: 10 points and 6 rebounds

Trent Lane: 8 points and 4 rebounds
The following day, the Badgers were back on the road, this time to face the Sunburst Refiners. Despite a slow offensive start and some sharp perimeter shooting from the Refiners, the Badgers held a narrow 26-23 lead at halftime. The third quarter mirrored their performance from the night before, as the defense held the Refiners scoreless while the Badgers added 19 points. The game ended in another commanding win for the Badgers, 54-32.

Tyler Lane: 15 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks

The Badgers now boast a 10-1 overall record and remain undefeated in conference play at 7-0.

Monday, January 27: The Badgers face Class B Shelby at home (JV at 4:30 p.m., Varsity at 7:30 p.m.).
Thursday, January 30: The team travels to Shelby for a rematch against the Coyotes (JV at 3 p.m., Varsity at 6 p.m.).
Friday, January 31: The Badgers host the Simms Tigers (JV at 4:30 p.m., Varsity at 7:30 p.m.).
