Cascade Awarded SLIPA Funding

The Town of Cascade has been awarded $64,284.00 by SLIPA to be applied to three separate upgrade projects. This funding was approved by the 2023 Legislature in HB355.

Madison Well Springs Fence Replacement: This project will replace the dilapidated fences around the six individual springs that contribute to the Cascade Water System. This will help to protect the water source from other area influences that may skew the testing results in a negative way.

Cascade Bulk Water Station: This project will replace the aging bulk water system located at the Cascade Fire Hall. This will prevent additional maintenance that exists with older systems.

Atkinson Baseball Field Sprinkler System Replacement Project: This project will replace the manual sprinklers with a sprinkler system. This will help to conserve water and provide a great recreational space.
