Badgers Roll Past Augusta and Valier, Stay Undefeated in Conference

Another week of basketball is in the books, and the Badgers continue to dominate the conference schedule.

On Friday night, the team took a road trip to Augusta to face the Elks. The offense was humming early, scoring 29 points in the opening frame. However, the Elks managed to knock down four 3-pointers in the first quarter, trailing our boys 29-17. After that, the team tightened its defense and only allowed 19 more points for the remainder of the game. Final score: Badgers 77, Elks 36.

- Tyler Lane: 18 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks

- Kaden Jorgensen: 16 points, 4 steals, 3 assists

- Lane Ethridge: 11 points, 2 steals, 2 blocks

- Ian McKamey: 8 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals

- Peyton Hauk: 5 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists

- Trent Lane: 4 points, 9 rebounds

- Josh Creveling: 6 points, 7 rebounds

On Saturday, the boys were back home, welcoming Valier for an afternoon contest. The defense was exceptional, holding Valier to no more than 9 points in any quarter. Final score: Badgers 83, Valier 28.

- Tyler Lane: 10 points (3 dunks), 6 rebounds, 4 blocks, 2 steals

The Badgers' record now stands at 6-1 overall (4-0 in conference play).

Upcoming Games

Friday, January 17th, the Badgers will travel to Power to face Power-Dutton-Brady (PDB), the only other undefeated team in the conference. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, January 18th, the team will return to their home gym to play against the Heart Butte Warriors at 4:30 p.m.
