Local Newspaper Changes Hands

Jeb Boettger Takes the Helm of The Cascade Courier, Pledges Community-Focused Vision

My name is Jeb Boettger, and I am the new owner of The Cascade Courier. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead this cherished local institution and promise to continue providing readers with relevant and reliable local news.

I am 24 years old and have lived in Cascade for most of my life. Over the past five years, I've worked with The Courier as the newspaper designer, as well as a freelance graphic designer, reporter, and photographer. Together with the Courier staff and previous owner-editors, we have taken this newspaper to win first place awards in the statewide 2024 Better Newspaper Competition. The Courier holds a special place in my heart, and I feel deeply connected to the town of Cascade.

Under my ownership, The Courier will remain focused on local stories and issues while nurturing a strong bond with the Cascade community. To ensure a high-quality newspaper, community involvement and local contributions will be our top priority. Our goal is to blend a modern approach with the newspaper's traditional roots.

I encourage you, our readers, to share your stories, ideas, and concerns with us. The community's voice is vital in shaping the future of The Courier.

Thank you for your continued support. If you enjoy staying informed with your local news, please consider subscribing.

I am excited about the bright future ahead for our local newspaper. Together, we will grow it not only as a business but as a voice for the community.
