Dearborn Garden Club members usually focus on projects that benefit our community, but this time we had a fun November meeting. Carol Brady organized a workshop where we all made Thanksgiving centerpieces. Thank you, Carol, for your help and expertise!
Some of the goals of our club are beautification and spreading cheer in our community. This season, we have accomplished this by:
1. Setting up Christmas wreaths in the barrels at local businesses and churches.
2. Donating to the Cascade Food Bank.
3. Contributing $350 to the 468 Market to assemble two food baskets for families with children at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
4. Decorating for Christmas at Quiet Day Manor and bringing snack foods to share with the residents.
5. Stuffing 50 Christmas stockings and delivering them to the Children's Receiving Home and the Great Falls Food Bank.
Happy New Year from the Dearborn Garden Club!
