Sidewalk Trip Hazard Addressed on Front Street

The gutter cover for the sidewalk on Front Street between Wedsworth Memorial Library and The Cascade Courier/Switchback Veterinary Clinic was repaired by the Town of Cascade on December 23. This cover had presented a serious trip hazard for quite some time, and the repair is a welcome fix.

Residents have expressed gratitude for the attention to the sidewalk issue. Local business owner Ray Castellanos, who operates The Cascade Courier on Front Street, commented, "[The repair] makes walking there a lot safer. It was a tripping hazard for us youngsters. Thanks, Cascade!"
