Wedsworth Minutes November 14

Call to Order: 5:30 p.m.

Attendance: Mayor Wes Seabolt, Trustee Jason Cornelius, and Town Clerk Melanie Bissell were present.

Approval of the Minutes from October 10, 2024:

Trustee Jason Cornelius moved to approve.

Mayor Seabolt seconded.

Ayes: All. Nay: None.

Motion approved.

Public Comment: Public comments are encouraged during each agenda item.

Discussion on Wedsworth Land:

Public Works Director Joe Voss reported that the land has been winterized.

Discussion on Wedsworth Hall:

Pancake Supper Dates: Trustee Jason Cornelius reported that the athletic director will provide homecoming dates ASAP.

Trustee Eisinzimer suggested reserving the last two Saturdays of September on the Wedsworth rental calendar.

Trustee Cornelius will continue coordinating to ensure agreement on dates.

Discussion on Wedsworth Library:

Book Sale Results: Library Director Nancy Rowan reported excellent results, with $2,172.25 raised, compared to the usual average of $1,400. She noted flyers were distributed as far as Great Falls.

Public Comment on Non-Agenda Items: None.

Review Bank Account and Pay Bills:

Trustee Cornelius moved to approve.

Mayor Seabolt seconded.

Ayes: All. Nay: None.

Motion approved.

Discussion:

Trustee Cornelius proposed adding a set time and price for half-day rentals to the fee schedule.
