New Season for Badger Wrestling

The wrestling season is underway, and with it comes an exciting mix of new talent and seasoned athletes.

This year, the Cascade High School wrestling team welcomes new members Colten Moulding and Kalen Vanek on the boys' team. Joining the girls' roster are Adelein Goetze, Allie Park, Courtney Wright, and Kyleigh Siversten.

Returning wrestlers include Kael Smith, Elijah Kennerson, Payton Johnson, Kegan Vanek, Trevor Standley, Cole Standley, Cody Park, Aaron Sawyer, Bridger Lewis, Eddie Formell, Asher Nelson, Isaac Okes, Cache Carroll, Rial McGregor, and Kooper Coates. Leading the team are seniors Izaak Munski and Hal McGregor.

The Badgers will kick off their competitive season at the High School Wrestling Badger Invitational this Friday, December 6. Matches begin at 10 a.m. on Friday. Saturday's schedule features JV matches starting at 9 a.m., followed by varsity action at 10 a.m.
