LDS Church Hosts Pie Social

The Annual Ecumenical Pie Social, held on Sunday evening, was hosted by the LDS Church this year. BP Mark McKamey of the LDS Church conducted the event. Gail Ferguson opened the service with prayer, followed by talks from leaders of several local churches in Cascade: Pastor Dotti Behling from the United Methodist Church, Pastor Mark Nelsen from Canyon Life Church, the new priest from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Father Panickomveli, and Dave Riley from the LDS Church.

Music was provided by Scott Woodland, Mark and Jessica Nelsen, and the LDS Church's Primary and Youth Choir. After the closing prayer by Les McKamey, attendees enjoyed some delicious pie with friends and neighbors, sharing warm fellowship on a cold night. (Some may have had more than one serving of pie, but I'm not naming names!)
