Junior High Girls' and Boys' Basketball Kickoff

The JH Girls' and Boys' Basketball season kicked off Monday, October 14, 2024, with practice. This season, we will have 18 Lady Badgers and 23 Boys Badgers taking to the court. Coaches Travis Edmundson and Levi Jacobs are returning for another season with the girls’ team, while the boys welcome new coaches Kory Hastings and Tyler Costa.

It’s a fast and furious season, featuring three home games and four away games before the tournaments during the week of November 18th. I asked the girls what they were most excited about for this season, and they said they were ready to play basketball, as it is their favorite sport for many of them. The boys mentioned they are excited about shooting threes and the bus rides. Me too, boys, me too!

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be around the kids, watching them work hard and have fun.
