Craig's Caddis Festival

The 19th Annual Craig Caddis Festival and BBQ Cook-Off in support of the Craig Volunteer Fire Department was held this past Saturday. Festivities began at 3:00, with temperatures in the mid-80s, as vendors were ready to show off their wares, and the town was filled with the aroma of BBQ! It seemed as though the town tripled in size as folks from all the surrounding areas came down for what has become a popular yearly event that’s on everyone’s calendar. The Craig Volunteer Fire Department started the “party” officially, as it led the parade down the main drag. And the party continued with silent auctions, live auctions, live music, street dancing, a BBQ contest, and oh those food vendors. Thanks to all the organizers, to all the participants, and to all the party-goers who continue to support this fundraising event, a good time for a good cause.
