Are You Ready For Some Football?

That was Hank Williams, Jr.'s introductory song to Monday Night Football a few years back. And yes, this Dallas Cowboys fan is ready for some Badger Football!

We got a first glimpse of the 2024-25 Badger team last Thursday evening, as they met for a scrimmage game in front of a small group of fans. The day had been hot earlier, but had cooled off by game time, a strong breeze flapping the yellow Badger Pride flag on the players' bench, the new football scoreboard making its proud debut.

Both teams seemed evenly matched, the White team scoring first, but missing the point after. The Black team came back with a touchdown pass to #24 (no roster with player names available for this game). Their two point conversion was also successful, the score being 8-6, Black.

Final score was 14-6, Black. The coaches got a good look at the players' strengths and weaknesses, and will work to get them ready for their first game against Rocky Boy on Aug. 30th at Rocky Boy at 7:00 pm. The first home game will be the week after on Sept. 6th against Chinook. GO BADGERS!
