The Cascade Lady Badgers ended the regular season with a win and a loss. With the win the Cascade Badgers continued their winning streak in the conference. This team has now won 22 straight wins in their district. These are an amazing bunch of girls who never quit and always play hard. In their first game, the Badgers played an excellent Great Falls team. The Badgers started hot and took a 28-14 lead with hot shooting from Mackenzie Hauk. Braedyn Johnson was playing amazing defense. Kyleigh Sivertsen and Aubrey Hamlett controlled the boards. In the Second half, Ashlyn Korst hit some key three-pointers and Sophia made key shots while running the offense. Unfortunately, Great Falls got an offense rebound to put their team up by two. The Cascade Badgers lost a heartbreaker 45-43. The scoring was as follows. Hauk-16, Mortag-9, Korst-6, Johnson-5, Sivertsen-4, Hamlett-3.

In the second game of the weekend the Lady Badgers traveled to play a tough Elks team that has four Seniors on the team. It was a back-and-forth game that saw the Badgers win by one 46-45. The Badgers were led by Braedyn Johnson's defense. For most of the game she guarded Augusta's best player and held her to one field goal. The Badgers held Augusta to 5 points in the second half and led 23-22. Also got to give credit to Allie Park and Addison Johnson for playing valuable minutes for the Badgers Even though the Badgers were in foul trouble they used pressure defense to hold the Elks to 25 second-half points. With the game tied Sophia Mortag hit 1 of two 2 free throws to take a one-point lead. Then the team used their tough defensive mentality to hold the Elks, with Johnson leading the way. Scoring is as follows: Mortag-25, Hamlett-8, Korst-4, Hauk-4, Johnson-3, Sivertsen-2. Good job Badgers, again finishing first in their District with a 10-0 record.
