Lady Badgers vs Augusta's Lady Elks

The Lady Badgers continued their regular season winning ways. A very tough Augusta team came to Cascade on a cold Saturday night. After a back-and-forth game, the Badgers came out on top 54-52 for their 17th consecutive regular season victory. Mackenzie Hauk played 31 minutes and led the Badgers with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists, while also playing great defense against the Elks best players. As a team the Badgers had 43 rebounds and 12 assists. Sophia Mortag hit some key three- pointers and free throws down the stretch. She also had 16 points and 8 rebounds. Braedyn Johnson came alive in the second half and got two key steals and buckets to help the Badgers take a nine point lead.

The Badgers play Big Sandy (JV 3:00 Varsity 6:00) and Sunburst (JV 12:30 Varsity 3:00) at home this weekend. Please come and watch and cheer these young ladies as they show off their skills.
