Thursday, September 7th, the Badger Football team took to the grid iron for a matchup against the Powell County Wardens from Deer Lodge. After a first quarter Wardens score had them down 6-0, the Badgers asserted their dominance and scored 4 consecutive touchdowns, bringing the score to 28-6. The success largely accredited to a power running game and relying on a stout defensive front. Caiden Sekuterski led the Badgers with 144 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. He also had a 15 yard touchdown reception in the contest. Peyton Hauk, led the team in receiving with 3 receptions for 55 yards, a touchdown and a two-point conversion. The Badger Defense had a well-rounded contribution and led the team to winning the turn over battle 4-1. Ian McKamey had a 40 yard interception return for a touchdown in the third quarter to seal the victory for the Badgers.
