Few people know that for the last five or six years, 92-year old Korean War Veteran,Earl Sukut, has quietly taken it upon himself to maintain Joe's Trail on the Frontage road outside of Cascade. He starts at the Trailhead, clipping off dead branches from the trees and shrubs, and continues up the Trail, doing likewise. He politely greets those that use the trail as he's working.
