Atkinson Pool Open for Summer

Monday was Opening Day for swimming at the Atkinson pool! Temperature at 1:00 pm was 61 degrees, with a "feels like" temperature at 57! A steady breeze was blowing, and dark clouds were approaching, but that didn't keep the "die-hards" from braving these elements and enjoying what little heat the sun was providing on an otherwise beautiful day. The lifeguards were there in their sweats (smart), and from the laughter and the back-flips off the diving board, you could tell nothing was going to put a damper on this day. Pool season is here; THE POOL IS OPEN, YAY!!!
