Going Green!

Cascade FFA Greenhouse Open for the Spring

After a winter that seemed to last forever, who isn't ready for some plants and color for their homes?! Cascade High School's Greenhouse Management class (Destiny Turan, Madi Ward, Zoe Mazaira, Jeremiah Creveling, Colby Crowell and Gavin Gilham) is ready to offer you some amazing flowers and veggies for your yard. With a huge, generous donation of flower plugs this spring from Barb Byrne, we are able to offer you Petunias, Verbanias, Impatiens, Potato Vine and Calibrachoas! We also will have Coleus, Geraniums, Celosia, African Daisies and Osteospermum...just to name a few! The students have even put together some hanging planters for the public to purchase. Not looking for flowering plants? We also have an array of veggies started for your gardening needs! Six packs of Sweet Corn, Jalapeno Peppers, Bush Beans and Walla Walla Onions. We also have germinated Pickling Cucumbers, Lemon Cucumbers and Zucchini, Cherry and Early Girl Tomatoes. We even have "Salsa Garden" six packs! All supplies are limited this year, so when they're gone, they're gone!

Cascade FFA Greenhouse located at Cascade School (321 Central Ave. West, Cascade), will be open to help you fulfill those Mother's Day plant needs! Starting Friday, May 12, 2023 we will be open from 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm and Saturday May 13, 2023 from 10 am - 6 pm. Does that special Motherly type have a favorite planter? Bring it in for a planting deal! Pick your own plants and plant them right into that favorite planter! We will be closed Sunday, Mother's Day, to celebrate our own Mom's. But don't worry! We will be open again on Monday May 15th. Hours will be Monday - Friday from 4:15 pm - 6:00 pm (while supplies last) and hours are subject to change. Here's to a great start to Spring! Hope to see you there!
