I Wanna Dance!

Last Thursday, March 30, the students in grades EK-8 participated in our 3rd annual Folk Dance Event. The students in these grades were treated to live music provided by David Casey and instructions by Abby Nyhof and Jennifer Skogley, all from Helena. Abby and Jennifer teach K-5 music in Helena and David is a musician who plays music in the community.

Each class spent about 45 minutes during the day learning and reviewing some folk dances so they could teach their family later that day at the community event. It was a fun day, seeing all the students folk dancing and it was even more fun to see them dancing with their parents, brothers and sisters that evening!

Thanks to everyone who participated and made the day possible, especially Mrs. Mazaira, Mr. Skogley, David Casey, Abby Nyhof and Jennifer Skogley. We are looking forward to seeing you next year!
