The Cascade Public School Local Science Fair is almost here! The fair will be Tuesday, February 21 in the south gym. The science fair involves students in grades 6-10 and will begin at 8:30 am and hope to finish by 2:30 that afternoon. Our science students will set up their projects that morning and will be judged by at least 2 judges during this time. There will be awards given out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places as well as Best Of Show for each grade level.
The public is invited to come and see the projects our students have been working on after the judging is finished or about 2:30 pm.
There will be an awards ceremony at 3:00 pm to celebrate the Best Of Show projects in each of the 5 grade levels-6th - 10th. It would be wonderful to see a lot of folks come and celebrate the excellence of our science students! And you will get a chance to say "Thank You!" to those educators and mentors that helped our students this year!
The projects that earn a Blue Ribbon or Best Of Show Award at our local fair will be eligible to advance to the Regional Science Fair in Great Falls on March 9. The State Science Fair, for those who qualify at the regional level, will be in Missoula on April 3. So much going on for these students!!
If you are interested in helping with the Science Fair, please just let me know! As you know, help setting tables up and then taking them down after the fair is always appreciated!
We hope to see you at the Science Fair on Tuesday, February 21!!
