After a back-and-forth game, the Badgers came out on top 54-52 for their 17th consecutive regular season victory. There was basketball action Saturday morning at Cascade Public Schools, as elementary basketball teams from the towns of Cascade, Belt and Fairfield met for some friendly competition. Teams were divided into 1st - 2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, and 5th grade. Ability, of course, varied from each age group. The winter season sports started this weekend when Cascade hosted the wrestling Badger Invitational, held at the North Gym. For many of these athletes, it's the culmination of months of preparation, both physically and mentally, getting themselves ready for this day!
