DISTRICT TRACK RESULTS Girls are district champions for the 3rd year in a row, boys for the 2nd year in a row. Both teams scored a school Record breaking number of points. Something that needs to be pointed out is the competition within our team and how hard you push each other in practice and at meets to make each other better. With a large team, many had to fight for a spot in events and that forces everyone to have to compete harder. Those that didn't qualify still helped our team so much by...

Editor's note: What an honor for a school and a community to have one of their coaches be recognized as "Coach of the Year"! But when two of their coaches get that recognition in the same year, well, we just have to brag! So we asked two people who are close to these gentlemen to share with us what makes these men worthy of this recognition. Mike Moore, Cascade Boy's High School Class 10-C Coach of the Year – 2022-2023 From the hardwood to the golf course and everywhere in between, Mike Moore h...

The Championship Battle for the girls 10C District Basketball crown was literally that, a Battle! If you think the boys played rough, you should have been at the girls championship match. Girl teams don't reach this level by playing "lady-like". And both, the Lady Badgers and the Lady Tigers deserved to be in that final match, as evidenced by the intensity with which both teams played. Girls were literally being knocked down hard all throughout the game, only to "suck it up", pick themselves up...
It was a thrilling finish to the semifinal game against the Simms Tigers at the 2023 10C District Basketball Tournament at CMR High School Thursday night! Trailing at the half by a score of 34-23, the Badgers could not seem to put their game plan together as they were missing their shots and victims of steals by an on-fire Tigers team. But during the halftime break, Coach Moore must have worked his magic, because it was a different team that came out for the third quarter. The Badgers came back...
The Power Pirates went on the road and set sail to Cascade to face off against the Cascade Badgers last Tuesday Night. Clearly there was a height advantage for the Badgers, but that didn't stop the Power Pirates, as they outscored Cascade in the first minutes of the quarter. The Pirates were playing small ball and moving the ball around well around the court as the game proceeded, while the Badgers caught up to finish the 1st, tied 13-13. As the second quarter continued, the Badgers attacked...
