    For the past 10 years, Belt has held a BFT Basket Raffle to raise money for scholarships for BVHS students who want to become teachers. BFT stands for the Belt Federation of Teachers.     Last week, on Friday, October 4, Cascade was hit by a major windstorm. The gusts, reaching over 70 miles per hour, caused significant property damage to Mark Nelsen, a Cascade resident and pastor of Canyon Life Church.
