    The Badger boys hit the court on Tuesday, December 19th and welcomed the Class B Shelby Coyotes for a couple of games before the long holiday break. The JV squads faced off first and the Badgers found themselves in a defensive battle early. The Coyote JV held us to our lowest scoring quarter of the season, and we ended the 1st period down 7-9.     On 12/19/23 the Cascade Government visited the Great Falls District Courthouse. The students were given a tour of the judge's chamber, records rooms, cells, and tower. Next, with the guidance of Judge Grubich, the students put on their mock trial. A woman was bitten by a dog and her rose flowers were destroyed, so she went to court against the dog owner.     This is Ruth Hultgren. She will be turning 92 years young on January 21st. For the last 10 years, this beautiful lady has been blessing our kids here in Montana by knitting mittens for the children of Cascade Schools. She is the mother of Cascade's first grade teacher, Karen Allen, and we just wanted to recognize her and honor her for the love she's poured into our community.
