The Sacred Heart Mission Catholic Church of Wolf Creek, Montana will have its last Mass on October 21st at 3:00 pm. The Catholic Diocese of Helena explained that this was due to a shortage of Catholic priests. They did say that the church was not closing, only that there were no definite plans for the near future. Sandra O. Mikita of Helena, MT, formerly of Cascade, MT, died peacefully the morning of September 20, 2023. She loved painting and sewing and was an incredible cook. Jean Ann (Keeley) Craven passed away on October 10, 2023 at the age of 91. Jean Ann was born in Grand Forks ND on December 2, 1931 to David D. and Laverne (Boyd) Keeley and joined her older sister Colleen. Her younger sister Pauline soon followed. The Cascade Badger Junior High Football Team concluded their season last Thursday against division foe, the Ennis Mustangs. The Badgers came away victorious in the defensive battle on a wet day, scoring a 6-0 win.
