This past weekend, the Cascade Badgers Wrestling team competed at the Choteau Classic Tournament, and nine wrestlers made their way to the podium! Eddie Formell took 6th place in the 150 bracket, Hal McGregor secured 5th in the 285 bracket, and Cache Carroll earned 4th place in the 175 bracket. For 2nd place in their brackets, we had Kael Smith (110), Elijah Kennerson (126), Trevor Standley (138), and Kyleigh Sivertson (girls 145). Over the weekend of December 6-7, our Cascade Badger wrestling team competed at home at our beginning-of-the-season tournament, the Badger Invitational. In the two-day tournament, the wrestlers were determined and set on doing the best they could. With that, the Cascade boys' wrestling team placed first with 183.0 points, Choteau came in second with 178.5 points, and Conrad with 175.0 points. The wrestling season is underway, and with it comes an exciting mix of new talent and seasoned athletes. This year, the Cascade High School wrestling team welcomes new members Colten Moulding and Kalen Vanek on the boys' team.
