The Badger basketball season ended this last weekend at the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls. We entered the Divisional tournament with our first game against the Winnett-Grass Range Rams. The Badgers entered the 10C District Tournament seeking the school's first District title. The boys had done everything they could to position themselves to win. An undefeated conference season snagged us the #1 seed and a 1st round bye. All that was left was for the team to finish the job. It's tournament time! The Badgers concluded the regular season last week and will be working hard in practice to prepare for the District 10C tournament. Another successful week of Badger basketball is in the books. With our season nearing its conclusion, the Badgers once again had 3 nights of basketball this past week. The Badger boys' basketball team just completed a busy week. Multiple nights of action saw JV and Varsity each get 3 games of competition. The JV started their week with a Tuesday contest against the Power Pirates. The team continued its winning ways with a dominant 52-25 victory. The Badgers have made it halfway through the season and this past week was our first to rematch with teams we've already faced once on the schedule. Friday night the Badger JV started off the weekend with a rematch against Big Sandy's JV squad. The boys jumped all over the Pioneers and led 26-3 at the end of the 1st quarter. The Cascade High School boys' basketball season began last Friday as the Badger JV team welcomed Helena Christian for their season opener. It was a successful first game and the Badgers came out on top 47-43. Josh Creveling led the home team's scoring with 15, including sinking 8 of 11 free throws. The Badger Junior High Boys Basketball team played their last game of the regular season right before the Holiday break last week. Tuesday night the Badgers hosted the Junior High squad from Power in the season finale for both teams. The B squad was up first, and it took awhile for the team to get going.
