    The Lady Badgers went to Shelby for the District Tournament for a right to move on to Divisionals. The Badgers went in as the number one seed and got a bye for the first game.     The Cascade Lady Badgers ended the regular season with a win and a loss. With the win the Cascade Badgers continued their winning streak in the conference. This team has now won 22 straight wins in their district. These are an amazing bunch of girls who never quit and always play hard.     Friday night The Lady Badgers hosted Heart Butte to play a tough game. Once again the Badgers used their quickness and tough defensive mentality to force 35 turnovers and win a good game 51-35. The Cascade Badgers got 20 steals and 12 assists as a team to create a great team win. The leaders in deflected passes were Braedyn Johnson with 8, Sophia Mortag with 5, and Mackenzie Hauk with 4.     The Lady Badgers had a busy weekend playing three games. As usual, all the girls showed great hustle and toughness. While they are always the smaller team, they fight for every rebound and play tough man-to-man defense. In the first game, the Badgers traveled to Shelby to play the Class B Coyotes who are in third place in their district.     The Badgers ended a two-game homestand with a 1-1 record. In the first game it was a matchup between the #1 seed in 10C (Cascade) and the number #1 seed in 9C(Big Sandy) It was a close game the whole way. The Badgers were within 4 with a couple of minutes to go but ended up losing 55-43. A hustling Badger team got 23 offensive rebounds and outrebounded a much taller Big Sandy team 43-33.     The Lady Badgers continued their regular season winning ways. A very tough Augusta team came to Cascade on a cold Saturday night. After a back-and-forth game, the Badgers came out on top 54-52 for their 17th consecutive regular season victory.     On December 19 the Shelby Coyotes came to Cascade and played a tough game, resulting in a 42-28 loss for the Badgers. The Badgers did pound the board and outrebounded the Coyotes 43-35 and had 6 assists to their 0.
